Deformable Modeling for Human Body Acquired from Depth Sensors

چکیده
Vamshhi Pavan Kumar Varma Vegeshna This paper presents a novel approach to reconstruct complete 3D deformable models over time by a single depth camera. These are the steps employed for deforming objects from single depth camera. The partial surfaces reconstructed from various times of capture are assembled together to form a complete 3D surface. A mesh warping algorithm is used to align different partial surfaces based on linear mesh deformation. A volumetric method is then applied to combine partial surfaces, fix missing holes and smooth alignment errors.

3D Body Reconstruction from Photos Based on Range Scan
We present a data-driven shape model for reconstructing human body models from one or more 2D photos. One of the key tasks in reconstructing the 3D model from image data is shape recovery, a task done until now in utterly geometric way, in the domain of human body modeling. In contrast, we adopt a data-driven, parameterized deformable model that is acquired from a collection of range scans of r...
متن کاملReal-Time Cloth Simulation
The field of cloth-modeling has been widely investigated during the last decade. Many solutions have been proposed for the different aspects related to that field, ranging from fast cloth integration methods to complex collision handling. However, it is still challenging to perform simulations in real-time without compromise. In this thesis, we base our work on fast collision detection methods ...
متن کاملDetecting end-effectors on 2.5D data using geometric deformable models: Application to human pose estimation
End-effectors are usually related to the location of limbs, and their reliable detection enables robust body tracking as well as accurate pose estimation. Recent innovation in depth cameras has re-stated the pose estimation problem. We focus on the information provided by these sensors, for which we borrow the name 2.5D data from the Graphics community. In this paper we propose a human pose est...
متن کاملDynamic Propagation Channel Characterization and Modeling for Human Body Communication
This paper presents the first characterization and modeling of dynamic propagation channels for human body communication (HBC). In-situ experiments were performed using customized transceivers in an anechoic chamber. Three HBC propagation channels, i.e., from right leg to left leg, from right hand to left hand and from right hand to left leg, were investigated under thirty-three motion scenario...
متن کاملDeformable Organisms for Automatic Medical Image Analysis
We introduce a new approach to medical image analysis that combines deformable model methodologies with concepts from the field of artificial life. In particular, we propose "deformable organisms", autonomous agents whose task is the automatic segmentation, labeling, and quantitative analysis of anatomical structures in medical images. Analogous to natural organisms capable of voluntary movemen...
